As members of our local churches, we should help one another experience continual transformation into the image of Jesus Christ. However, we can only do this if our lives are experiencing transformation into the image of Jesus. We can’t share what we haven’t experienced. We must take the time to spend time with the Lord so we can become more like the Lord. The more time we spend in His Word the more we will begin to think like Him, speak like Him, and act like Him. We must continually renew our minds and focus on Jesus filtering our lives through the Word of God as our anchor. Some of the steps we must take as Christians to experience continual renewal in our local churches are: We must walk worthy of our calling remembering that He who called us is able to keep us. We should not look like the world since we’ve been set apart. We are to be imitators of Christ walking in love with all people, which is a clear reflection of Him. We are to give of ourselves even to the point of sacrifice for others. We must pay careful attention how we walk applying wisdom to our actions and words. Most importantly we must make it a priority to know the will of God. Be Encouraged! ❤

As members of our local churches, we should help one another experience continual transformation into the image of Jesus Christ. To experience continual renewal in our local churches, we must look to our own 'walk' first, then encourage others in their walk with the Lord. We must be different from 'the world,' in how we think, talk, and act. We are to allow ourselves to be washed in the Word (Ephesians 5:26), our minds renewed by Christ (I Corinthians 2:16b), present our bodies as a living sacrifice and holy (Romans 12:1), walk in love (Ephesians 5:2), reflect the light of Jesus (Eph. 5:8) and the fruit of the Spirit (Eph. 5:9), and discern God's will so that we can do His will (Eph. 5:17). As our walk becomes more and more like Jesus, and we reflect Him, it will encourage and influence others to be renewed and transformed. Pretty soon, our churches will be full of Light bearers, people busy about the Father's business. Thanks for the teaching, Dr. G.
