Thank you for your feedback. You know, I came through the PSD program back in 2017 and feel very lucky to be able to have attended a program with real world experience that coached me to a CDL. Most CDL schools cost upwards of $5,000 and don't give you any experience. To get that at no cost was an absolute blessing. 😎🙌🏼

Hey partner! 😁🙋🏻‍♂️ Great question! Your instructor and dispatcher should work to get you back to a terminal fairly quickly, but it is also dictated by the available freight otw back. My guess is you'll be back at a terminal within the week, do you know where you are planning to test? SPRIMO, PA or SLC? 🤷🏻‍♂️

If I was otr for psd, do those miles count towards my tnt?

Great question! 🙌🏼 Unfortunately the permit miles do not count toward the TNT requirement currently. But the experience of those miles will certainly make that next phase that much easier. 💪🏼😎

YES! I would hear Prime employees throw these terms out without explaining them all the time because they assumed everyone knew what the terms meant, but I believe Prime is one of the few or only companies who use these. Great explanation, Danny!

Thanks so much! Yes there are certainly a lot of sayings that are unique to Prime 🤓 But trucking in general has a lot of really fun jargon 🚛 Like did you know that a flatbed trailer is often refered to as a skateboard?! Skateboarder for life 😝🤙🏼🛹

I did talk to Heather Ross. Update: I got my meds for high blood pressure today, and normally it takes 2 and a half weeks to get my blood pressure stabilized to under qualifying level. Once I do that I can go back to my DOT exam location and update my 3 month certificate to a 1 year Medical Certificate. Without the meds I tested at 145/94 today, which was been the best numbers so far and my diet has been working. I plan on taking the CDL Permit in two weeks and updating Heather on the results.

Thanks so much for reaching out and offering your perspective 🙏🏻 I originally came to Prime (in 2017) after researching and finding that they were offering the best starting pay of any entry level mega carrier that had a CDL training program, so it was a no brainer for me starting out. I definitely encourage everyone to do their own research though. It sounds like you may have had a different experience. Thanks for weighing in! 😁
