Lolli has her own reaction channel, as you noted, The Fairy Voice Mother, where she analyzes and reacts to music including, as it happens, Johnny Cash’s cover of Hurt. She has posted a few pieces of her own music and covers in her Lolli Wren channel. She admits to periods of pain in her life that you see here, but mostly she’s a very generous, lovely person, very expressive in her reviews, and always opens with “Hello, Gorgeous”.

This to me is the epitome of what Lolli is about, she’s a lovely emotional person who has great ways of expressing herself. Being a vocal coach and general singing nerd who can emulate almost any musical style she certainly knows how to use her voice! The background behind this cover is based on her reaction to Johnny Cash version, she was in bits, tears flowing etc! She wanted to put her own spin on it, I think she did an incredible job, I didn’t like this song much but this is something else! Nice to see that you appreciated her version!
