San is the one you said English must be his first language but actually none of them have English as a first language and Hongjoong (leader) is technically the most fluent. San's pronunciation is just amazing. He's also really good at Japanese, possibly even more than English. I don't know how they find the time to learn all that they do but it's so inspiring to me. They always say they just really want to be able to convey their feelings to fans and also understand ours better (like at fansigns and stuff) and I think that's so special. 🥺

I’m watching kpop 12 years now I don’t see any kpop groups performing like this with hard choreography singing live live not stopping this’s really hard they’re insane That shirtless muscle man name SAN he’s main dancer and lead vocal he’s speaking Japanese English and korean you’re right his English accent really good for sure he’s best performer in kpop people say he’s not human in stage

Thanks for reacting to this. I love ateez❤ BTW, none of the boys of ateez are native English speakers. They were all born and raised in korea and had to learn English. It makes sense that you would think San (shirtless one) was a native speaker though because he has a really good English accent. I think he just works extra hard on pronunciation😂

Arent it supposed NONE of the boys are native English speaker 😅 Hongjoong can speak well but still not to the par as native speaker. San have a great improvement with his accents but still sometimes lacks vocab. But yes. All of them study hard to learn English.

Thank you for this reaction! We are so proud of Ateez 🎉 They have worked so hard for this. KQ has recently released 2 almost-hour-long videos to show the behind the scenes of their Coachella gig. Part 1 documentary is called Say My Name and the Part 2 is Arriba. I really really love the live band accompaniment for the Coachella stage. To me, our rock god Jongho's voice goes so well with an electric guitar. I hope as Ateez grows even bigger, they'd always have a live band on tour with them.
