Thanks for reacting to the video of Angelica training for her Broadway debut and her solo number from "Boop! The Musical." As you correctly point out, performing live in a musical is quite different than doing a studio recording or even a live concert. You need to act and sing and often dance at the same time. And as Tara says, you have to sing differently than you do for pop songs. The clip was of her solo "Portrait of Betty." She also has a duet with Betty "My Hero;" a trio with Betty and Duane (her brother and Betty's love interest) "My New York;" a quartet with Betty, Raymond and Carol "Win with Betty;" and two songs with the entire company. When it opens on Broadway there may be even more songs for Angelica because one of the most common comments in the reviews was that it needed more numbers from Angelica and Jasmine Amy Rogers (who plays Betty) in the second act. Given that Angelica has the second most songs after Betty Boop, she will clearly get the Supporting Actress billing which is great for her first musical and at 17 years old.
