Yeah, sometimes we get it wrong because there's no perfect set of rules or guidelines to follow. I think you just gotta go with your gut, try not to make hasty decisions, and be consistent. Frankly I think the most important thing is just BEING there for your kids... IOW, don't sweat the minutia. :)

Loving the museum so far Paul! I have to admit, like (I'm sure) many of the commenters here I would love to be able to play on the Mindcrack server myself. It just seems like such a great and fun bunch of folks to be playing with, it's hard not to want to be part of that community. Honestly, finding a mature bunch of players to play with is surprisingly hard in Minecraft. I've thought about setting up my own server, but there's just no time what with family stuff and all. Ah well.

As much as I love the stained glass, the regular glass looks better. To me, the white stained glass is hard to see with the sandstone. Awesome job on the museum, Paul!

I agree with you the clear glass looks much better. It would be so cool if they had different looking chests for the different structures in Minecraft. In those little alcoves you might try digging out a block under the slabs and putting a torch there. Then put the slab back and you'll get a little light. I guess you could try it and see how much light it gives off. The museum is really shaping up. :)

If you have it in the frame, put it on the glass where the TNT is right now, and use an offenthic chisled sandstone. That will look nice. Everything else, great job on the museum, and you should have a Botanical Exhibit with the new 1.7 plants!

Had too much coffee again Paul? - I think clear glass looks better. - I suggest that you entirely enclose the TNT behind glass in that corner where it is exposed. Make it the center block of a 3X3 cube of glass which would totally secure it from any potential accident (unless really deliberate vandalism is intended ...). Finally, I totally agree! We have only one family! I am, like you, a father of three (16, 13, 8). Cheers!

Paul, my employer became a friend. Almost family and for the last year (he never smoked or drank). He was a diabetic, for the last year he had Pancreatic Cancer. His youngest son said, "My dad was not afraid", he told me. I had 2 families. My home family and my boss's family as he was such a good friend. We can have 2 families, if people are cool. Hugs.

Paul you can put the door on another block (not glowstone) like wool but you can put the door on the bottom and then put the glass on top. Also because they're 2 blocks high instead of 1 block.

The second stronghold you took items from was the community stronghold, which was discovered by a big group of the Mindcrackers for the dragon slaying. If I were you I would credit it to "mindcrack community" or something similar.

Paul? I have an idea. Can some of the Treasures & Roleplay items have little Written Books on display with them? You know, to tell little short stories about the artifacts. Like with the Ancient Dwarven Bowl. I LOVED the story you made-up for that & thought it would be cool if you did this. Museums usually have plaques that give lots of info, theories, & legends/myths on the exhibits displayed & I don't think regular signs will cut it. The factoid boards don't seem like they'd be enough, either.

I Love the white stained glass. It looks so sophisticated, and with the normal glass, everything looks to bright and happy. Too many lines on the normal glass distract my eyes. Just wanted to let you know what I think. Thanks for reading! ∩__∩

PSJ, for the wooden and iron doors, just place them on the black wool. with no glass on the bottom, just glass on the top, that way, the signs will be on level with the other signs. Like it up guys :D

No, they aren't able to be placed on glass. The difference with tricking a torch onto a crafting table is that the torch could actually be placed onto the crafting table if it weren't for that you interact with it first. Although we can just shift+place things now.

Paul try breaking the block beneath the doors and placing them on the ground then when you put glass over them it will be level with everything else and it will look like you meant for it to look like that!
