they're like the hydralisks from starcraft meets the graboids from Tremors....oddly enough Tremors 4 was set in the wild wild west. so this is really really cool! terrifying yet cool! definitely supporting this one!

Interesting. Keep going, at least for now. Unlike Raft, you have a sensation of movement because you can see the desert below you. Next level, you need to be able to add to your home. Making the ship bigger with more balloons. One balloon for a 9 pallet square. Corner pallets can overlap. Designers, are you listening to me???

You say that not having a procedurally generated map limits replayability, but I have hundreds of hours into games like the fallout series, the long dark, just to name a few, and they have fixed maps. This one could be a gem! Hope to see more.

10:15 that is a tumbleweed. You must not know much about old western deserts if you don’t know what a tumbleweed is. They’re called that because they tumble in the wind (I think, I don’t know for sure).

On the brightening of the interior spaces; a fairly recently added function in most game engines is overall brightness normalizing. I believe it is an NVidia added accelerator meaning it's a hardware function, essentially an auto gamma adjustment. Like an automatic exposure function on a camera, if you are viewing outside in the bright sunshine the interior of buildings will look dark - step into the darker interior and the overall brightness adjust to the lower levels and the outdoors through the windows and open doors will look over exposed. This has been "a thing" in Farming Simulator which runs in a pure NVidia game engine, but it's starting to show up more recently in some Unity and Unreal games, both of which use NVidia graphics plugins.
