PSL management should market the emerging category more like how it gets done for MLB or NFL. Shadab, Naseem, Zaman, Haris, Haris, Shaheen, Rizwan even Fakhar all came to limelight from PSL but through emerging category.. All big names within months after their PSL debut.

from 19:13 onwards, it is more evident that PSL should play almost a zero role when it comes to Pakistan Team selection by PCB. These so called players, who don't even play domestic are sitting comfortably in platinum categories.

Even the entire test squad in the first half of 2023-25 cycle? What were their domestic records and performances granting their selections? It's about time, PCB started to open its eyes and started seeing PSL for what it is? A mere money-making machine, which produces nothing but no risk league specialists; and started giving weight to its own, previously practically abandoned, domestic structure. Now, a guy, like Asif Ali can win IU dozens of matches but PCB is or at least should be better minded for his national selection, considering his domestic record, if there's any.
