Well on the pc side.. epic.. steam they go down too. So there is that. And that shuts down all the games.. at least games on the ps and consoles go down i have a game and can play offline that doesn't need internet. My internet was down for a week so o couldn't play pc... but luckily resident evil 4 remake just came out and I played that all week beating it on hard and professional level.

This right here is exactly why physical media should NOT be allowed to die. Single player games should not need the internet. With all the money they milk from consumers, there should be back ups. Why do freemiums not require a subscription to play online, YET we PAY for a game and we have to pay-to-play? PC doesn't have to. On top of that, they're itching to increaces on everything. Nah. That needs to be earned and this just proves they jave not earned that price increase.

it's working,in Romania at least,i'm now on my PS5. But yes was down. in Romania is 8 feb 14:00. It was down from 2 AM. Now everything it works. What is crazy is people get mad if a server shuts down for couple of hours. Imagine if WW3 starts and electricity will fall. In Romania around 80's we had electrical power,until 22:00 pm,after that till next morning at 7 we had lamps and candles.

We need Offline Mode, that allows you still play discs, without needing to handshake with internet. Also i just bought PS5 pro last night and installed external disc to it.... and this what happens... When i tell people "I am lucky like that", people think i am joking. My life likes to keep it interesting..... it sucks that i cant use the disc installed to the console unless i register it first online.... WHAT?!!?

I didn't even know that was happening in 2011 since I didn't play online and never purchased online since I did not care for digital downloads and I still don't. I still buy physical. But some physicals require online servers to play that I have noticed.

Im glad i filled my HDD's just the other day. Filled my Vita library too in case my PS5 ever goes down... Higly recommend a Vita in 2025 over a portal, get the OLED it looks beautiful. It has my PSX-PS3 PSP/VITA library covered. Been playing my hard copy of Rebirth tonight so didn't even realize nnetwork was down until i opened youtube lol. Hope it is up soon guys. One love ✌️❤️‍🔥
