For JB, Surging Impulse also is good for elemental stacking and (generally) you're not going to actually use elemental skills outside of maybe a gap closer, setting your element for the fight, or for AOE. It's a huge DPS downgrade to use it during a fight and JB has a skill that lets your skills stack/proc elemental on hit. Great video though!

With BAPS, it seems worth noting that your sidestep also followed the outgoing damage, moving back to follow the shuriken, so the direction seems like it can occasionally widen the window. Some attacks out there also just give you a wide damage window by design, so you can do both even without good timing, like the Fortross' exhaust spin. To that end, it might be best to just check for cases where it IS easier and otherwise just use normal Blade Arts Parry. I wonder though, what's the word on Soaring Blades' Custom for Rampaging Harrier? Has anyone crunched on which version has the best output yet?
