Can't wait for the people saying "lol of course its braver" when it's more like a lot of grind + routing + fatale 5 rugged + HEAVY randomness leading to BARELY clearing. Description really shows the effort put in. Thanks for the insights in that by the way, nice to see the effort put into the run. Not looking forward to grinding this myself, could already tell Nils was going to be pretty bad... but also the gear requirement seems far too high for me to even have a shot since the gear I need basically doesn't exist lol

Thank you, I appreciate it ^^ (I had to cut short in the description cuz not enough space to write everything lol) This clear was barely possible due to the heavy randomness. I spent way too much time grinding that, mostly cuz I didn’t have anything better to do, and because I knew it was possible and got too invested in this clear, but I thought about giving up many times, because of how bad and not fun it is to play with that rng simulator. Also the lack of data made the beginnings kinda rough, not knowing how the bosses interact is kinda bad, for nils especially since the testing was really hard cuz you can only fight him in purple. I also had no real way of knowing how far I was from clearing. But once I understood how everything works, it was just a matter of time and tries to get the perfect run.

You could technically test Nils in story, but there's probably a modifier making the HP lower and Nils might not work the same as it does in purple trigger (I haven't looked either) We just started verification on the HP since a lot of the DPS chart stuff was just finished and we finally got the time to get the data for other things, lol

Yeah I thought of using story nils, but I was scared of him having different properties for some reasons. With Sega you never know. So I prefered to test in actual condition in purple, since I could get to nils with enough time to try different things.

Instead of people saying of course its braver we should be saying God Damn boi how much *cash did you have to toss at certain websites to get all the meseta needed to augment all that gear and buy maxed out fatale Weps and what not but outside of that this guy here is the GOAT but once i saw him die to that damn drill i was like okay even the god can get knocked on their ass once in a while so we know he’s not a bot and he’s only still human. Other then that watching this always inspires me to play better at this game. Well played sir you have my Sub keep rolling out some strong content and im sure you can get a good sub base community going for yourself. You deserve it!

As far as I've seen, most of the clears are Fi/Bo combinations, but I've seen some Br/Bo clears like this. I use Wa most of the time, and I look forward to seeing some Wa solo clears !

Yeah, a lot of people are getting clears on fi/bo, there’s way less braver clears from what I know. And I saw a waker solo clears a few days ago, but the video doesn’t have the full quest unfortunately.

Encore jump basically allows you to jump on the enemy/boss and do extra damage. The number of jumps you can do is close to infinite in theory, since you can spam your jump key and spam encore jumps like that (idr the exact frames of encore jumps, but should be around 5 frames or something like that), so some people are using macros to get as much jumps as possible (I’m not doing that cuz I don’t really like using macros). Encore jump has a base potency of 25 at level 20, which is kinda low, but since you can spam it, it can snowball really fast. When doing maths, I’m assuming an average of 4 jumps per second, which is reasonable enough (it can be higher in a lot of situations, but also lower if I mess up). Getting 4 jumps per seconds will give you an additional 100 dps, which is a crazy boost, and the main reason why fanatic blades is so strong, because it boosts its dps to almost 550 dps even ok subclass (for lotus rotation on braver main is around 440 dps).

Rugged weapons can have 3 different potentials depending on the weapon type. Citadel will give you shields reducing the damage you take (knuckles and bow have this potential, so that's why your knuckles have the field, and I also have the field, since my weapon is a bow with a katana as multiweapon), gyrating which will reduce your pp consumption after using 300 pp (katana has the potential), and pursuit, which will give you additional attacks (a bit tricky to explain but that's the idea).

I will need to try that. The drill boss is one of the most annoying things they could have done to this game. I have separate bow/sb to use sb because I already have a fully affixed obsidia fatale4 and I was lazy to build another weapon, but technically it's better to have sb as the base, or an sb alone, because if it's on a mw, you have to use an sb ability to take sb out and be able to use fanatic blades, like I do in this vid, I have to use sb normal before using fanatic blades.
