This is why I skipped wingard, going to just use eredim until either exelio is good with upgrade system or wait for 12 star weapons and transfer augments over.

Thankfully the weapons are going to be the least of our worries when it comes to BiS Augments, as you can easily get away with 3 EX Augments + 4 LC Augments and still be close enough to BiS. Units however can't do that and are probably the ones you're going to be more careful with when it comes to investing in BiS. Seeing as Augment Transfer Passes are still scarce, it's the Units you want to invest long term into (At least 4-5 months) and want to keep the Transfer Passes for. So yeah, it's indeed best to hold off on Exelio weapons for now until we know what the upgrade is going to be like. If you get a Wingard in the meantime, you can still do a mid-tier investment with that relatively easily if you want. But it's best to keep the BiS augments for either the Units or later.

bad idea to transfer to exelio right now. best to wait until we know what the upgrade is like and if there are any other weapons at the time it gets its upgrade that might be better to transfer to.

When I get the Exelio weapons I need, I will just hang onto them until the upgrade path shows up since my Eredim weapons are still good and have high fixas on them, once that happens augment transferring will be a breeze.

Having to enhance a weapon to transfer augs isn't the problem, you'd have to do that to Wingard or any gear upgrade. If you shouldn't upgrade to exelio you shouldn't be upgrading to Wingard right now either for the same reason. We're not moving to exelio because we don't know the upgrade details yet. Going for Wingard right now puts you at more risk of wasting resource. Not upgrading is playing it safe, going with Wingard is like betting against exelio getting decent upgrades.

Also you're a pso2 OG you know Sega has a new low drop rate weapon sitting in the chamber ready to release after October, exelio will probably get upgraded to 12 star then a new 12 star flugal/Wingard type will get released, especially since we have a new higher star tier of armor. This is the cycle same since days of old.

I fully upgraded Eredim thinking it was the upgradable one for October (exelio). well, I fell better knowing its transferable, but why is that? Not that i'm complaining, but what allows Eredim to bypass the augment transfer tickets, compared to the others?

its such a huge disspointment free augment transfer and ex will end with eredim. was such a huge game changer. its been an absolute nightmare for me to augment my gear. purely because of bad luck. not from lack of trying.

if you dont have already have an eredim or winguard you should upgrade to exelio just because it gets an evolution upgrade in october. dont buy into a winguard or eredim now. theyre soon to be outdated.

I’m using Eredim and Wingard right now. Wingard is still essential because of its powerful photon blast, and then switching back to a Eredim/Exelio. I’ll be using Exelio when upgrades for it release.
