I wonder what other additions and changes concerning character creation (races and classes) will happen. I mean, 1000 years are a long time. Also, will only the mission field be an open world or will we also have an open world hub, not "just" a space colony (it's still big but also has limited space like the mission field)? Another important thing (at least for me): Will there be an EMEA localization release before NGS comes out? Or will both happen at the same time? Or won't there even be an EMEA localization? I really hope that the first option will be the case, since new players probably want to get into the original, which already is full of content, before playing NGS, which is a sequel and brings even more "full of content". It can prevent confusion and newbies being overwhelmed with more than double the content they originally expected. It's not like those question will never be answered but I do hope of getting some more information in the near future.

Yes but also no. It depends on if they go through and remake every single graphical model as well. At it's core changing graphics engine only changes how lighting is handled and introduces some new and more efficient ways of doing things (this can lead to a net-decrease in requirements actually), that alone will make the game look much more pleasing but it can only do so much. The other half is updating all models, materials and textures, now that's a much, much bigger task, however they probably only need to go through and remake the oldest assets, but you might still spot some quality differences here and there.

@@IvyrKazegami actually not really. with the onset of rtx 3000 cards there are many very good cards that are getting sold at cheaper rates. I own a mid tier graphic card from amd, rx 480 4 gigs, and im pretty sure i'll be able to handle the new graphics just fine. If you do not mind not having a warranty, you could always go for a used card. Used graphic cards are always very good in the department of bang for the buck. I bought my rx480,a refurbished card, 2 years ago and its still going strong to this day. You will just have to research a bit and im sure you can save alot of money and get a very nice gaming system too.

Something I hope they desperately change is the monetization. It's so annoying you can't use in-game currency to reset your Talent trees. Anytime you're charged real money for core game features, I think it's really shitty. Also, buying character inventory slots for real money? Fine... whatever, but the slots you can buy are temporary... Everything costs money to do, and on top of that, most of it is temporary passes.
