I am so frustrated. 😭 I've had skin issues my entire life but not plaque psoriasis. I had unexplained rashes as a child. My father and sister have severe plaque so i always thought thats what psorisis was. At 33 i had a SLAP tear in my shoulder which they reattached. At 34 i had 2 major spine surgeries for ruptured discs in my neck that flattened the cord and caused cervical myelopathy. From that point on... I have had a never ending cycle of health issues and have seen multiple specialists. Colonoscopies, endoscopy, allergy testing, cardiovascular tests. Heavy metal tests, bloodwork over and over. Everyone kept blaming the myelopathy and hardware in my neck for the overwhelming fatigue. Then i saw an immunologist and he did allergy testing and told me i had a severe contact allergy to textiles and fabric dyes, so i had to eliminate dyes and synthetic fabrics. I have swelling in my fingers and toes and sometimes when i flare up i have swelling in my ankles. I am SO tired. The fatigue is killing me. I also have nail involvement (pitting, lines and flaking nails) and a patch of dandruf at the back of my scalp. All of these doctors and tests and it took ME figuring this out and realizing this is what i have been dealing with all along. Im 44 years old and i feel like im 60. I hate my life. This is a nightmare.
