I just finished watching the longplay and i have realized that Robin Atkin Downes(the voice actor that provides the voice of Master Chief in the Halo games), Quinton Flynn(the voice actor that provides the voice of Raiden in MGS 2 and 4) and Richard Doyle(the voice actor that provides the voice of Big Boss in MGS 4) also provide voices in this game.

I don't think it will not be remade because it won't happen you know hideo kojima will be leaving konami after metal gear solid V the phantom pain releases and konami is dead after kojima leaves they will make a new metal gear game without hideo kojima.

+g mo I don't know when is konami going to work on a metal gear because they're focusing making games for mobile and pachinko machine and I saw a castlevania slot machine here in Vegas I think it was at some casino in the Vegas strip anyways we don't know if they're coming back to making video games because at konami Japan they treat their employees like crap there that's what I read in a video game news site or even watched a video of it.

One thing confuses me which doesn't make sense about the story line of frank jäger gray fox and sokolov first the whole gray fox thing big boss didn't meet gray fox till later before the events of peace walker which is non canon which I know of and didn't Sokolov die in snake eater is canon but how is he alive in this game which is non canon.

@topdoginthepin Actually, through a special set of missions, you can recruit Raikov as part of your 'special characters' group, just like Eva, Ocelot and others.. The voices for Zero, Paramedic, Sigint and Raikov are listed because of the noises they make during fights.

The Philosphers were renamed as the Patriots like 6 yrs after the Boss died, when Major Zero, BIG BOSS, Eva, Paramedic, Signit, and Ocelot recovered the legacy.

Honestly, disregard the complaints regarding your gameplay. It's the fact that you took your time to upload this masterpiece that counts. The quality turned out pretty decent too. I've recently started watching MGS game play vids and I never even played the games! xD (working on getting a PS3 sometime lol) Anyway, thank you so much for these uploads. All of the hate aside, your skills could use some improvement. Though I have to admit that playing this with just one analog stick on the PSP can be tricky. I've played all of the canon console games (including HD Peace Walker) and I thank you for letting me know the part of the story that was still eluding me. I can't wait for MGS V :D!

I played this two games already, if somebody wants that too, there are on the the metal gear solid 3: subsistance pak for ps2 and on the HD Collection. But i heard you have to play some of that normal content to get it. just have subsistence (until next week :)

Actualy, its MGS3, MGS-portable Ops, MGS:Peacewalker, MG, MG2 solid snake, MGS1, MGS ghost babel, MGS 2:Sons Of Liberty, MGS4:Guns Of The Patriots. Snake return is a fake sequel to MG on the nes. Finaly, Metal gear acid 1 and 2 dont fit in the timeline.

You forgot two games before MGS 1. The Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. They were for the MSX console. I don't think they were ever realeased outside Japan though and if you search for longplays of those games, I think the translations are fan-made, because they have serious mistakes. Check the Metal Gear Wiki on Google.

Kojima didn't Create Portable Ops, KP did. another thing is that Portable Ops is set to become Big Boss's Background not set to become the offical story line, but it used to be... after Kojima decided he "Didnt Rike It" and Therefore made Peace Walker in a side-attempt to try to tell the Players the Portable Ops is crap, and that his is supior.
