Psquare & Other Artists Drag Shatta Wale, Reveals Reason Nigerian Media Don't Promote Ghanaians. #Psquare #Shattawale #MrP

I like the way the commentator spoke about the issue. It’s obvious that our Ghanaian Artists need to be present in Nigeria(physically) to promote their works in addition to social media. Shatta got it wrong by insulting Nigerian Artists for an issue that is not their fault. I strongly believe Nigerians would fall in love with Ghana songs if they get access to them via massive promotion. Believe me, the new crop of Ghanaian musicians like Kuami Eugene, Darko vibez, Kidi, Stonebwoy, King Promise, Camido, Kwesi Arthur, Black Sherif, Abiana, Adina etc will blow the minds of our Nigerian brothers if they get a chance to listen to them. But before this can happen, these Artists and their managements need to enter Nigeria. The second and the most important part for me is our own Ghanaian media. They need to play our songs more and more (that is non-negotiable) than foreign songs (not just Nigeria). Peace out! ✌🏿

I think in research methods you deal with the most dominant, you can't deal with 1 to 5% when there's a 80% challenge, once you deal with the big ones the smallest will fall in place, as you said it's the media that will have to reorient itself in playing local content than foreign I think when the media helps they'll go very far

I started listening to Sarkodie since 2011...I came across his performance and freestyle on one of those JOY TV channels when I installed "STRONG" satellite Decoder that year. I bet you, only few Nigerian knew him that time, but I remember telling my friends that there is one venomous fast rapper from GH called Sarkodie whose artistry will take Africa by the storm. About 2-3 years later, he appeared in a video collaboration with MI and ICE Prince, and subsequently with Banky W etc...And Boom! He took over Africa with his flames of bars and ended up smoking out ACE HOOD 🇺🇸 in an International collaboration.Today, Sarkodie is a house hold name in African Hip Hop/Rap with countless of Awards including BET. That was just one person I discovered on my own. I remember how Nigerians were vibing to one GH artist called TINY way back in 2004-5, we did with Azonto, same way with R2Bees featuring Wande Coal, Wizkid etc...At a point, "Halleluyah" by Sarkodie and the late guy ( have forgotten his name) was all vibe everywhere for naija. My dear Ghanian brothers, sisters and Africans in diaspora, let me make this simple for you all as a Nigerian and a fellow African. There was an awakening that started in the late 2000 about the world becoming a global stage for all to feature, which gave birth to the current globalization of the African music experience that we are experiencing right now in Africa and the world at large, which everyone is now scrambling for a fair share of this movement and the benefit that comes with it. What we did as Nigerians is that we looked into our culture, our way of life and our story telling ability which is embedded in our Africanisms knowing fully that we cannot be like anyone else on the global stage of music but ourselves as Africans. So, we took advantage of our sounds and started experimenting with new tech in music fusions and WE EVOLVED and made progress with the understanding of what type of sound the world at large wants hear, listen and enjoy when it comes to African music. So, what we’ve done with the Nigerian Music is called differentiation. This understanding is what has paved this pathway for us and it came with a lot of hard work, Sacrifice and orderly thinking that has birth new ground breaking sounds that bridge cultures on a global scale. Simple! We are still working hard at it; we’re not going to stop but continue to make progress with new learnings, because we’ve learnt a lot along the way. So, there’s still more to do and learn from. PLEASE START YOUR JOURNEY AND STOP THE CRITICISMS. Stop feeling entitled and drowning yourselves in self-pity but look inward for every resource available to you and start refining, defining and put in the work progress awaits you on this journey. We move…

What’s Mr. P saying it’s not wrong and what Shatta Wale said was very disturbing but what the real problem is here Nigerians really dominate the music industry in every way possible from streaming services to major media powerhouse , if it’s not a Nigeria iota Ghanaian. so I was saying is make a good use of these big platform they to give Nigerians and and pulled all the genre of music with you or at least give them some type of hair time or support. it be nice to see different top African musicians to be given the same type of exposure afrobeats artists get, because Afro beats was supported by Africans before it was in mainstream music all the African countrys supported it and that’s how even people outside of Africa starting to notice because all the African countries embraced it . so we have to keep doing it together not just alone if you guys don’t understand this it’s sad . But there’s time for everything and trust me this time will pass by so enjoy. There will be other music that will come. Lol one love 💯

SW has absolutely no point. How can you blame your predicament on Nigerian artists? Absolute nonsense. Who dey even listen to SW music? Nobody for Nigeria.

Sarkodie was once best rapper and frequently featured with top Nigeria artists if not all ,, so shatta should start doing good music and stop blaming Nigeria artists

I know I kinda dislike shata a lil right now , but what Peter said about him being cool, is not far from the truth, there was this interview of his I watched, he was so smart with the questions presented by the host, I was kinda smiling all through... But seeing all this hate vibes coming from him, I was like Nawa ooooo... Well love and light is what I preach always

Shatta is just jealous 🤣 it’s 9ja appointed time to shine and they may even help shine the light on other genres of African music. Now Amapiano from South-Africa is making waves and will dominate international airwaves because of its international appeal. N.B I’m Gh through and through but not a hater 💪🏿👏🏿😂
