I like the build breakdown, because we can see the true quality of the worksmanship. I prefer this instead of just showing us the finished product, because there are so much details showing the quality work that you put in those systems.

Hello Peter, firstly I need to thank you for all your great work you present in here. I have been watching you for about two years now and you are such a huge inspiration to me. Though I consider myself as a rather skilled DIYer, all that time I was convinced there is no way I can handle the custom fabrication part (full car sound deadening, A-pillars, front sub enclosure, etc.). Thanks to your detailed instalation work progress videos TODAY I am finaly convinced that I am able to pull that off. I am looking forward to subscribing to your Patreon for even more detailed content. Thanks to you I will definitely save money on the shop work, gain some new fabrication skills and knowledge and more importandly, I will have hell lot more satisfacton and fun from my system knowing I handled it all by myself (apart from the tuning, that I will leave to the professionals). I wish you good luck in both your professional and personal life and hopefully I will be able to shake your hand someday on some European EMMA gathering. Greetings from Czech Republic!👍

Hey perter, I have a lot of people saying you don't want rear speakers and front center speaker when setting up 3way system. Their take is the having a front center speaker will mess up front dash imaging. Also having a rear fill from rear speaker will also mess up front end stage. Is this true? or this is from people who cannot tune their system correctly. Thank you.
@pssound97492 жыл бұрын
Bit of both. Centrefill is not needed for a fully active 3 way setup, that is for sure, but can have benefits for 2seat tune or if the mids are in horrible locations and the stage height needs lifting. If people learn the difference between running rearfill normal or differential, then they realise that the later doesn’t mass up the front-end at all.

So you left the rear factory 8” subs in the rear dash? Wouldn’t they act like a passive radiator? When the IB sub hits wouldnt it move those cones creating a funny secondary bass hit? Did you seal them up? Did you concider cutting the cones out and allow the pressure wave from the rear to vent out the rear speaker locations? If not why did you choose not to do this? I love the install so far Peter. I’m not criticizing you I’m just trying to understand your logic behind this decision. Thanks for the video I can’t wait for the next one. Your thumbnail really got me. I thought you lost your everloving infinite baffling mind! Lolol
@pssound97492 жыл бұрын
I think you missed in the video when I explained that the whole parcel shelf is sealed with deadening, so there is a barrier under that 8” OEM speaker, so it doesn’t effect anything anymore.

Why do people put subwoofers right up front on the floor? Does it really make a difference and isn't it more prone to getting damaged in that location?
