Mainly phrases are of three types adjective adverb and noun phrases Adjective phrase. It will modify a noun definitly eg she is the girl with brown hair so with brown hair is phrase and girl is noun Another example he is the king with great power so with great power is the phrase and king is noun in short an adjective phrase should have a noun before it

Now adverb phrase it will modify a verb in sentence and answer the questions how , when , where .eg she is runing with great speed so with great speed is phrase so here it modify the word runing so it is adverb phrase and also if we ask how she is runing so the answer will be she is runing with great speed Another example he will be reached in two hours so in two hours is phrase modify the word reached which is verb and also if we ask when he will reached so the answr will be the same so adverb phrase should modify the verb in a sentence

Noun phrase . It will be used in a sentence as an object or subject and must be having a noun + modifier eg All the kids are sleeping so all the kids are noun phrase havimg noun kids + modifier ( all the) and used as an subject in a sentence Another example his team is going to be win .here his team is noun phrase having the word team is noun and his is modifier and used again as a subject so it should be kept in mind that noun phrase must be having a noun + modifier eg his team, all the kids, green garden , biggest river , an elephant , a car etcccccccc
