Your Smarties are called Rockets in Canada. We have Smarties already but they are candy coated chocolate similar to M&M's.

Rockets in my area of Canada are hard candy that has a chocky sweet flavor in these little round coloured pellets that is wrapped up like a bon bon. Smarties would be chocolate covered in a candy shell from my knowladge about candy. M@M's taste better than both of these. I prefer the chocolate types of candy haha.

The smarties in the video look like they have the Rocket packaging and look. Smarties are a lot more darker in color than Rockets which are pastel.

Watching this from the UK! Smarties over here are chocolate pieces with a sugar shell (like Reeces Pieces!), and the powdery pastel hard candy Smarties that the USA has are similar to a UK candy called "Fizzers" by the Swizzels brand! :)
