+15 surprises to collect, as long as you count the capsules and stand, and the hair/shoes as two surprises each... And of course, legs and skirt are two separate surprises as well. I'm not impressed, plus the plastic waste is through the roof on these!

I'm not sure how they counted 15+ pieces. Even counting the shoes, hair, and stand as two pieces each, and the book as a piece, that only brings it to 14 pieces. Are they counting each capsule egg as a piece? It all seems misleading. Why even put it on the package? Otherwise, they are cute!

So I'm convinced that the pieces you get are random; Jenn from GreatBigToyBox got the same skirt and hair but her overall outfits/dolls were different. . Also you guys please mention that the packing (box and plastic capsules) is reusable. Personally I find that really neat.

KayCee C a lot of us are trying, the great big toy box talks a lot about the waste. When I’m big enough I want to push for better packaging too. But you still have a voice. Email the companies. They do reply :) if enough people bring it up they’ll change.

Wait...... Both boxes say 15+ pieces inside. But both dolls only come with 7-8 accessories/pieces. Hair, head, body, legs, skirt, shoes, bag, and Shannon's had a bracelet. That's 8 pieces, tops. We can be generous and say the stand would make it 9, and if we're being REALLY generous, we can say the 'checklist' is 10. But that's still not 15+ pieces. So.... Are they counting the capsules as extra pieces? Because if so, that's some really skeevy marketing, if you ask me.

Everyone complaining about the amount of plastic....the capsules & box are completely reusable. You open the top & the capsules can be put back in, if refilled they can be rereleased. I think once you acquired a few pieces, you could place them back in the capsules to mix & match them. Or these would be great to put candy & treats into the capsules & give them to your kids for good behavior.

I think these dolls are creepy... I feel like the makers tried too hard to make too many different pieces and lost track of what really matters... The paint job and the eyes are pretty bad, the proportions are kinda weird, the skin color just doesn't look good with such an over the top make-up. If they want to try again I'd say they should make bigger dolls, softer make-up, kawaii packaging, WAY less options (like 8 to 15 dolls that match in every box, even if they are random, every box would give you a matching doll). Having less dolls would make collectors more willing to get them, and parents more willing to try and get their children the whole collection. The hair should also be actual doll hair lol

I love that this toy encompasses the idea of having a capsule wardrobe, with items of clothing that are interchangeable and complimentary with the added fun of having the fashion pieces actually in capsules. The play on words is fab. The packaging being part of the experience is cool and the more dolls you have the more outfit options you’ll end up with is a concept that will encourage sales. The only think that I find slightly off putting is the lilac colour of the dolls but I see why they had to do that. I saw these in store the other day and was kind of underwhelmed but now I’ve seen this unboxing I realise these are much cooler that I first gave them credit for. Great video guys. Would love to have seen you mix their looks up.

I personally feel like the LOL Dolls have way more waste with layers upon layers of packaging and the tiny doll you get that has no poseability in the least for the amount you spend on it. These are really cute and it's a great idea, especially for older kids/teens/collectors. At least a good portion can be reused -- the capsules can easily be used for Easter egg hunts and the like!

I got the crtl alt magic box and I got the same exact parts expect I didnt get a blue wrist watch and the pink hair came with a gold halo Also to everyone saying the capsules are huge plastic waste: they are reusable. They are good quailty and you can put any thing in the capsules. As well as put them back in the box to be redispensed which is fun.
