One of these days, Herc is going to leave their ass on an abandoned planet, and when Jayce and Gillian go: "Herc! Come back!" he's going to remind them of the fake diamonds Gillian made and laugh uncontrollably as he takes off. I'm pretty sure the last episode is where Herc hands them over to Sawboss in exchange for the payment that Jayce never came through with.

I think I know how the series ends - Herc get's tired of Gillian always tricking him with precious stones and metals and leaves everyone behind on a planet. It is a boring and depressing episode which was never made.
