Same, honestly, i just set a profile for any given app and don't touch it again, so i prefer the hidden menu of the old version.

Just used autoplugin 2 to delete OG PSVshell and install PSVshell plus and it worked flawlessly, moved the folders and everything to where they need to be as well!

Looks very polished and adding the shell features to the PS Button menu is great for quality of life, but the fps doesn't seem to update with PS1 games. Stays locked to 60fps no matter the game, and regardless of true framerate.

Well higher the clock speed higher the power consumption so it drains the battery quicker but even when u oc that doesn't necessarily mean it uses all that extra power all the time

the more times you charge the lower the life expectancy, the quicker you discharge the quicker youll have to charge. Upgrading the battery is a possibility.

Thank you for this tutorial. I was scratching my head thinking where is the Shell_Plugin file but if you download it using AutoPlugin 2 then that will put it all in the relevant folders. Only step you need to take it to make sure to delete the original PSVShell profile. Once downloaded just reboot the system and long hold the Playstation icon to bring up the menu and scroll down

Don't like the lack of color on the HUD. Honestly the only thing about the new one that I like is that I don't have to do that key combo to access it. Being accessible from the PS button menu is awesome, even if it doesn't look as cool as the old text menu imo.

while I admit it looks really clean, there's a couple of problems with it that I'm seeing. I can't bring it up while I'm playing fba_lite (the new emulator that can play third strike at near 60 fps). I have to back out to the main menu and bring it up from there. Second problem (very tiny problem) is with the bigger overlay, it gives you the option to move it to any of the four corners of the screen, problem is if you move it to the bottom left, it almost covers the entire button to move it back to the top (you kind of have to scroll up a bit to gain access to the button, a major nitpick but can be annoying). Otherwise I'm loving the new design. Adding a bit of transparency to the overlay would make this perfect for me.

Nice update indeed and It doesn't work in fba lite coz it's an issue of an emulator not a plugin issue. They assinged the home button for different function and long press do nothing so it won't work unless they change it

@@ZealousChuck that's true. But with the previous version I was able to open psvshell while running a game on fba lite. I guess that's one advantage the previous version has over this. But one thing I noticed is I can open up the newer version of psvshell in psp and ps1 games via adrenaline which I don't think was possible in the older version of psvshell. Not sure if overclocking improves psp and ps1 games though. Might test it on more demanding games like the God of War games on psp.

Es4 overclock? There only CPU GPU and XBAR. Lolicon can overclock GPU to 333 and as for es4 it can 222 overclock. This plugin is meanless, Lolicon is the best overclock plugin.

GPU and ES4 is the same thing. Maximum possible GPU clock is 222 MHz. It was mislabeled as ES4 in Lolicon because back then names of ScePower exports weren't so well know. What is labeled as GPU in Lolicon is actually Venezia, also known as Codec Engine, and overclocking it as Lolicon does makes absolutely no effect on system performance.

There is a PSP game you can play in Adrenaline, "Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles". It's a remake of Rondo of Blood that includes the original Rondo of Blood as well as the original SotN as unlockables. I'd recommend that, and just use a cheat or something to unlock SotN if necessary. Hope that helps.
