I am a psw myself and i work in a long term care home and let me tell you its been going downhill where i am we are always short of staff, people having their vacation request denied, not replacing people, dealing with management and families, not getting help, or no breaks and clients having high demands and its just a huge stress ball that we feel throughout our shifts. No matter how we voice our concerns and what needs to change they ignore us, I could imagine how home care is and it sucks not having any benefits, getting paid enough for our high demanding pressure we face on a daily, the government doesn't give a damn about us

Yes and the government hasn’t passed Bill 33 go look at it. It would help LTC and psw to patient ratio. It’s the time to care act bill

I’m surprised psws in LTC don’t know about bill 33 it’s basically gonna make things better for you all. The bills only in the second reading it needs to be read a third time and then it’s law!
