The emotion that underlies the music of this Band is so vivid, melancholic, dark, beautiful!

Who ever marketed the band/album goofed up real hard. This could have and should have been a bit hit but instead the band faded in the relative obscurity
@dowdallerno13 жыл бұрын
It wouldn't have sold remember it came out in the mid 90s. Brit pop shite was in vogue. They put out the more upbeat tunes.

Thought of you tonight Simple twists and turns Incarcerated here And handcuffed to your world Your innocence is cruel Coquettish and arcane But I need it all the same I thought of you tonight In silent seething heat Through charred and damned desire Dark Eros wounding me Your innocence is cruel And your ass like Jesus feet Worth kissing, worth kissing Give yourself to me I share your need Give yourself to me And come to me Give yourself to me I share your need Give yourself to me I share your need I thought of you tonight Blank and starving eyes This one moment of clarity Blink the darkness in my eyes Your lips like bruised vulva Your ass like Jesus feet Worth kissing Give yourself to me I thought of you tonight Silent seething heat Charred and damned desire Dark Eros killing me Your lips like bruised vulva Your ass like Jesus feet Worth kissing, worth kissing Give yourself to me I share your need Give yourself to me I share your need Give yourself to me I share your need Give yourself to me I share your need Kiss me through your warning darkness Kiss me now so I can breathe Kiss me once then I am leaving Kiss me once then kiss yourself goodbye I thought of you tonight In simple twists and turns Incarcerated here I'm handcuffed to this world

Super ton clip !!!

The album this song is from is actually their 5th album, Troublegum is the 4th and Semi-detached is the 6th, just wanted to clear that up cause I thought those were the albums you meant

@@petardimitrijevic325 thanks a lot mate, when i wrote that comment i was very early into my therapy? discography, therefore was unaware of Babyteeth and Pleasure Death. all cleared up now, many thanks !

Remember how during the late 80s and the early 90s so many things seemed to be made that would just be too much to enjoy sometimes, because of the emotional impact it had on you? Must be that I was young back then. But I don't really think that's what's really going on. I think our culture lost its way over the last decade.
