This game is a sequel to the previous Spider-Man the 2000 Video Game and Spider-Man is now on a mission to stop Electro from obtaining a power source known as the Bio-Nexus Device.
Unlike the previous Spider-Man, comic book location vary on the gameplay difficulty you play on and also Parker Portfolio unlocks each time you complete the game on certain difficulty.

90's Spider-Man is way more hardcore than the more recent game. He just straight up yoinks goons off rooftops and doesn't save them from becoming sidewalk pizza. I love it.

My dad used to come and get mad at me for screaming when I died over and over in this game, so he'd pick up the controller to help me beat the level and then mum would come in and yell at him for screaming when he died over and over. When he beat the second-last level (the one with all the tiny platforms and the bottomless pit) I think he went and had a shower to unwind.

This game came out in late 2001, the end of the Dreamcast and N64. I'm amazed the PS1 kept going until 2004 when the PS2 was already out.
