That is very true. I love listening to psytrance sober. But I'm afraid there's a level of complexity to the composition, the synths, the little qwerky noises... there's an atmosphere it creates that's just not the same without the crazy world of hallucinogenics. Especially when people come together to enjoy the music and the spiritual togetherness.

I have tried both ways my friend, but all I'm saying is that it doesn't have to be a drugs only music if you set your mind to it. All I need is to relax and set my mind to daydream state and you can pretty much travel the same way, perhaps not as high as you would be on salvia or shrooms :))

Tips to start ? You make Psy trance with your heart, not what other people says "they" want it. Open your heart and start to find a beat who fit your ear, then build up from scratch. You have made lets say 1 min of a song, and you are still not satisfied how it sound, then you try with multiply of sounds effect. And you found maybe a hummingbird sound, and that give you the goose bum you where looking for. hope it gave some inspiration on your journey
