Im glad I knew all of these things before hand and knew what I wanted too. But still, the last one is extremely easy for me because my ADHD side of me will get bored and just DO. Its fantastic and makes everyday interesting. Yes, I keep bare bones order in my life and a routine because my ASD side will grow uncomfortable with chaos, but it is flexible due to my ADHD getting bored. And Im glad it does because we both chill and then blop! Im snuggling up for attention lol

One mistake I've made was being too afraid to self-advocate even when I knew it would be the right thing to do. If you don't self-advocate, I've learned that you're easier to be taken advantage of. It can go either way.😢

The "Ignorance is bliss" part resonated with me so much. In my past 13 year relationship I'm guilty to holding every little annoyance to myself. When she left her newly washed clothes that I washed for her on floor. When she left the dishes out in the kitchen or on the table. I didn't say anything for a long time, later I stopped caring if the clothes were laying on the floor, or if the dishes were layed out all over the apartment. And when she brought it up, the annoyance came up. But then she brought up every thing that I didn't do that she were annoyed with me. It became an argument and I thought to myself. i'm never going to bring this up again, it made me unhappy, we slipped apart. It all turned into a "It was good until It wasn't" situation

Just wanted to add on more to the “do exciting activities” as we grow or as time goes on each and everyone interested differs. So let’s say your partner likes something or is getting more into. Like makeup, she wanna go shopping to get or look at some products, and let’s say as somebody who doesn’t care much about it, should learn more about the subject and that can be going with her of course and being interested in her interests. Moving the bubble that slowly grow apart. And always having something to learn and grow and experience. Doesn’t always have to be exciting since we may already have a bias or something about it. But being like water and changing the way you think can come a long way. And make sure to stay positive, by avoiding engaging negativity, like talking about others or the movie was bad when it was just basic or something. It impacts your mood later and so on. Because we should all know our emotions get to other people as well, it spreads like the plague.

All of them done then a break up unfortunately, and depression, communication was difficult both having different cultures and shift patterns no time for with eacg other and in the end i broke up with her....all because covid killed us, we could not get married then i got sick then i got all the blame for it to then to feel guilty for breaking up with he as she didnt want to marry any more and i didnt know where i stood so i broke the relationship... after tried coaching counselling got lots of help but she refused and remained secretive not saying her shifts etc its a shame as she was a good women but she holded onto grudges, disrected me many times and was talking down and shouting out at me whilst i was going through depression which didnt know that it got bad and talks about the past hard to explain, now saying this out loud maybe she wasnt all that good thinking about it. However i did admit my mistakes and tried to reason with her but she continues to be the same alittle aggressive even for me i couldt take it anymore and i can put up with aot lol. Anyways excellent video i wish i seen this before to avoid stuff.

Its Illigal to be this early! I feel personally some people date wayyy to early i would stay wait until highschool. For example, I might start small with some close friends and maybe when Im 16-18 I will get more serious because I may be more mature. You should also talk to their parents and if they don't like you I wouldnpersonally just stay friends. Same with my parents aswell.

What if your love language is literally all of the above? 😂 I'm fortunate to be with someone who is much the same, with hers also carrying the added trait of "grief-giving", in a playful sort of way. I would say that communicating things clearly, openly, and directly is the best advice in general. No relationship is without some issue or another at some point, but I can say that just talking about things, even if it's not a serious issue, is paramount. In our case, we pretty much never have actual relstionship issues, but our individual personal problems can be overwhelming at times (I tend to internalize work-related issues a lot, myself)...so even if it has nothing to do with one another necessarily, just getting your worries and concerns off your chest can help immensely in life in general. A strong support base can make all the difference.
