That is awesome so you’re aware of that and that you’re trying to improve because the thing is most toxic people would not like to improve and not recognize they were being toxic and the reality is we can all be toxic but what’s important is we recognize that I’m so glad to hear that you recognized that😁😁

It may sound crazy guys, but clean your room if it’s messy, and organize it! Don’t just shove things in drawers. The process of dedicating time to do it, committing to it, and recycling/donating what you don’t need anymore, is not also peaceful, but extremely cathartic. I felt so good about myself after doing it. And it made me want to find balance with areas of my life. It’s a great first step towards bettering yourself.

Maybe EVERYBODY uses some manipulative techniques to get a little more in life to go their own way. Maybe they (most of them anyway) just don't realize it, or even they hide from it. Maybe the worst and most destructive lies are the lies we tell ourselves to avoid our own responsibilities. AND maybe, just maybe, you're becoming more and more aware of all the moments you've used some technique or other to manipulate situations for your advantage. Maybe there really isn't an escape from being able to manipulate someone at some point, pretty much everywhere in life. SO what do we do about it? Maybe instead of the knee-jerk "Manipulation bad" response, we stop for a moment and ask ourselves "Why should I manipulate this situation or this person?"... If we think about it in terms of what we can get them to do for themselves, then maybe it's NOT so bad that we manipulated them. Maybe this power of manipulation CAN be used for someone else's good, too. Sometimes, it's not an act of pure evil that you manipulate someone. Just becoming self-aware enough to realize it's what you do, you've come farther than most. Accepting this about yourself also makes it become a part of you, and like your own hand is a part of you, YOU can now learn to control it. I'd hazard that there's still responsibility to be undertaken with it, but that this isn't for the worst. The fact you find it important enough to type out in the Comments and make an accountenance of it says you're better than that. ;o)

I am always on my way to becoming a better person. But the outside world doesn't seem to care. In fact, the better I try to behave, the worse people behave towards me. The people I meet when I leave the house make it very difficult and frustrating for me to try to be a nice person. It's like they respect me more when I don't care about them.

I was honestly a big headed, had a big ego and also aggressive back then! I did mistakes and probably cause lots of problems to people and my teachers who i really want to apologize.... Its good to know that i kinda change.... Though i still can't say my feelings out loud and make some decisions on my own that depends on the situation......Well I'm still learning and changing... So who ever who's trying to change.... Remember that your past isn't who you are even if other people are looking or comparing you to your past! I know that it's hard to come out from addiction and other things.... But don't give up!, 🐙

Learning to be the best version of yourself is one of the hardest journeys that can last a life time. One thing that has help me to become the best person i can be is learning about myself, what works for me and what doesnt, what i like and what i dont like, what i need and what i dont need, how i learn, how i express myslef, How I act, How i think, how I cope, how I react in situations. My strengths and weaknesses, my insecurties and the things I am most proud of. These are some questions I have asked my self and leanred about my self. Self discovery has been one of the most helpful coping skills for my depression (yes I was properly diagnosed). Anyways even trying to answer one of these questiosn about your slef is progress!

I've been trying to become a better person, and this proves that I actually am, I relate to almost all of these signs, and I think I know why it's been happening so suddenly. I believe why I've suddenly realised these signs and that I've supposedly started to become a 'better person' is because, about a week or 2 ago, I let go of my crush, since then I've felt a lot better and my anxiety has dramatically reduced. I personally want to become a Psychologist when I can as I love to help others with their problems, that's why I subscribed to this channel, I actually first found this channel because I was trying to figure out if they had a crush on me back (back when I had a crush on them). also, sorry for the essay, I know that you most likely won't care, but still, sorry about the long paragraph. : )

Life is a journey of learning and growing. From my teenage years and beyond I've been continuously searching for understanding of who and what I am. We each go at our own pace, and face our own failings and challenges. We each experience our dark times. I have bipolar mood disorder. I have had to deal with depression since my teen years. I was a teenager when I first thought about suicide. I only considered it momentarily, then I rejected it entirely. I promised myself and my God that no matter how bad I feel, or how terrible my life may look or feel, I would never deliberately end my life. I've experienced dark enough times that I fully understand and empathize with those who have committed suicide, or attempted it. I'm not sure how I got through some of those days and actually still did my job. I am currently doing well, and my moods are stable. I have also recently successfully dealt with the last of my emotional baggage. I'm now seeking my next goal or direction I need to pursue. Even though I'm 54 now, I'm still growing as a person. We should never stop learning. If you aren't learning and growing, then you're cheating yourself. No mater how much you hurt, no matter how terrible your life may seem, never give up. Fight to the bitter end if you have to. Life doesn't just suck, it is horrible, sometimes. Make something good of it. You can succeed. You can become a better person than you were before. You can look despair in the eyes and not blink. When you are at your weakest, you can find strength. Strive for it; fight for it.

I can’t really judge myself so i’m not sure if i am becoming a better person or worse .. I cross check everything in the video but their words of “You’ve become apathy now, you no longer care about other” always echoes in my head and it’s scary ... I only have one person i trust about opening up myself and she know everything about my side of story and reason, she did mention the people who told me i’m apathy now is toxic people who can no longer take advantage of me ... I want to believe her but doubt inside my mind often louder than her voice ..

This video was very interesting to say the least. I have been told by my therapist many times over these things, but in a more subtle way(I thought she was just being nice....) It's hard for me to recognize my achievements. Being on a self healing and becoming a better person goal has made me feel oftentimes that I am making no progress. I still get the old thoughts and feelings which make me feel as if I'm not really going in the direction I need to be going. With all that being said, I am glad I came across this video. Even though, I am still a bit apprehensive regarding my achievements, this list does provide a sense of, okay I must be doing something right. I meet most if not all of the criteria 😊 Thank you and my apologies for the long comment

Well I was always told that I was very mature for my age and that I could do so many things because of how good I was at studying. I was always told that I was special when actually I finished school with just average grades and I was told that if I had pushed a little bit more I would have above average or even just perfect grades. So right now I'm putting that notion to the test. I applied to a school that would give me the necessary knowlegde and title to get a job at informatic engineering when previously all I did in my school was studying and play video games. And informatic was my worst grade with my score being near to the top bottom score on the subject at the end of my school-life. I had usually no one to hang out with and I never applied to get a part time job anywhere. To my eyes, I'm trying the best I can to not become a manchild despite sending big red flags to everyone I get into contact with. Also since getting into that engineering school wasn't the straight logical step after being in the kind of school I was. I had to do a "passage year" where I would learn everything I needed to know in the school for two semesters and that would count like having spent 40 weeks working for a company. It was rough, I was pretty much tested like in an exam with a score and all every week for every work we did. It was pretty much exams during the whole first semester. And the second semester was working for a company or for the school as a company and apparently I nailed it all with unprecedented optimism despite my grades being very VERY average again. And so my goal getting into this school is to besically introduce me to how to work for real while also not having the intimidating factor to have a boss bossing me around and menacing to fire me if I got lazy in the slightest 😅. I know it is still pretty much like school but it's also so different and it was the first time ever I could actually meet people that I could buy a Pokemon Let's Go game with without it being weird or anything. It was so nice! 😊 But then with the pandemic, I became way more isolated than ever and had to struggle a lot for studying despite my grades being very average still. I am seeing a psychiatrist even though the sessions are a bit too far in between for my taste 😅. Also recently I fell in love and the other person told me that they loved me too and that it would be nice to get to know each other more this summer. 🥰 And because of that person, I realized the state I was in: I was a jobless man age 20+ with no real friends or plan to get a job other than continue doing what I have done always since childhood: studying and playing. While my significant other has a job, is very independent and can even drive 😂😅 all while also liking the same things as me. So I'm trying my best to overcome my negative feelings in order to present to my love the best man I can be 🥰 so that when we meet for the first time irl in summer, we could determine if we would want to be together as lovers or just friends. And for that goal, I'm trying to follow for the first time in my life good life practices like going out more, eating healthier, doing anything other than just studying and playing video games and the like 😅😂. It's going to be hard but at worst I will have like the best of friends I could have ever dreamt for or at best my first lover 🥰

When you not aware of this sign except just one, "You are no longer the same person you know like yesterday" Because it comes from the people that surround you. They already acknowledge that you're a better person. Never forget it 😉

I always smile alot and laugh so often. Even if it's a serious situation ( not unless it's something bad ). When I'm alone i always smile and laugh. Sometimes when I'm with ppl that idk i kinda fake (smile) it since I'm uncomfortable. It takes me minutes in order to be comfortable with a person. I also think I've heard of angelman syndrome. As what i have heard, it's a thing that always smile and laugh often..

Yea you see the problem I have with #4 is finding people to open up to that won't take your honesty and feelings and use them against you later, and after many times of having being stabbed in the back by "friends" for what seems to be there own personal gain, I have adopted the philosophy of keeping myself to myself now.

well like i say especially when you can decide who you're working with in school much better to work with those who know what their doing even if you're now slightly looked down upon more rather than working with those who dont know what their doing but are apparently "popular" or whatever

Are you afraid to open up to people? And//or are you afraid of opening up to the wrong people? How to know who is worst trusting and when?? Getting emotional strengths and roots. So that you can be okay with and or without people. Self care. Self love. So that you can then be better okay to be vulnerable with other people too! :)

Suppressing may be not good for mental health. Being vulnerable doesn’t make you weak or inferior. Being a better person is about trusting yourself.

well I dont like bragging but this has been my whole life :D but don't get the wrong idea, even with the constant improvement rate you will be facing difficulties, like inexperience, lack of knowledge about a certain topic or toxic environment. but you can be sure anout one thing: If youre following this channel you're doing something great for your own development. Psychology is often neglected at school and because of our current educational methods it becomes pretty easy for people to be get ignored by their friends or teachers or even by their own family. Psychological and emotional well being is crucial for ones' improvement in life and by following this channel you will be paying extra attention to yourself and your surroundings from psychological and emotional perspective.

ahhhh 😖 i don’t like getting much attention or compliments, i didn’t get them very often growing up as a kid but when i do now i don’t know how to take them. it’s not that have trust issues, i just genuinely don’t know how to react. so, i usually just awkwardly look down at my feet, smile, shrug, look at them and say thank you and very nervously walk away. it’s so uncomfortable for me and the other person. i know it’s easy to just say “thank you! ^^” but then again my mind goes blank and i forget. i kind of, lag, in a way. i don’t like talking about myself either. i don’t know if it’s low self esteem which i don’t think i have but i might due to the fact that when my health teachers ask us to write positive traits about ourselves i just write “social, nice” can somebody please help i’m going crazy wait it’s probably just my hormones

I wish I had a really helpful answer for you. I would say that if you can't accept compliments you probably believe that you're not enough. So I would say, even though it's hard, try to remember that you do deserve love and compliments and good things. I don't know how helpful that is. Stay strong 🤗
