Thank you! So helpful that you guys highlight the important parts of the definition/description, versus trying to pick it out for myself in Cooper!

Hey Ryan! can you please give an easy definition of masking?

So engaging ♡♡. I shared one of these videos with a friend who thinks you have an 'intellectual voice', whatever that means. Thought that might feed the ego haha.

He doesn't have an ego but it will feed the need to keep creating content

@@PsychCore that's even better! Actually, if you guys haven't done it yet, how about a video on on ego (or lack of?) from the perspective of applied behavioural analysis? I'm just doing a unit called Human Learning at university (Australia, psychology student) and don't know much about the topic overall but your videos are helping tremendously.

Watch our videos on hypothetical constructs or reification or explanatory fiction, and all of our beast series on behaviorism, radical behaviorism, EAB, and ABA specifically. Oh, and the “utility of ABA” vid… the topic is brought up regularly!

Hi! Could you help me differentiate between masking and overshadowing?
@laurenbahr65684 жыл бұрын
I think with masking you know the correct response to the stimulus, but can't detect the SD because of distractions. With overshadowing you are unable to learn the stimulus-response relation because of distractions.
