This is one of the best songs they’ve ever made. It’s fucking perfect. The acoustic guitar sounds so broken and distorted, it gives me a sense of a “forced” happy ending. After all, how are you supposed to make a happy ending out of a story that’s ultimately about addiction? There’s definitely a lesson to be learned here. But whatever it is, it’s long overlooked by now. Live while you’re young, throw away all your days doing what you love.
