Besides children, autism is also common in adults and is different for each person. I'm an adult with autism and adhd and these symptoms aren't always consistent. I got diagnosed recently and I've found out so many obvious things in my childhood that my parents didn't know about. It is called a spectrum for a reason I was a very reserved autistic child. Never threw the traditional tantrums or anything but I'm semi verbal and I can't keep eye contact but I'm amazing at pattern recognition. Among other symptoms that clash with each other from having clashing diagnoses, It's different for everyone and takes years to diagnose it too. My parents always thought I was just a disobedient child who never did well in school or anything and even now they'll say I forget them or don't care about them when my disability gets in the way of communicating all the time. This will help explaining the situation since we have a language barrier too.

@@hadiaagha2417 you have to go to a psychiatrist that specializes in adhd diagnosis and it takes months to a year about to get an accurate diagnosis. It took me a year with testing and therapy to figure this out as I have both adhd and autism but it's faster for some!
