Bruhhh I was searching for this game's name for years and I finally found it 😭The great memories I had of playing this game when I was very young but couldn't remember anything about it for years other than the characters floating in the air. I hope they someday remake this game.

I fail to understand why they never progressed this game into the new era of Gaming Systems. This would have been epic on PS3/4 and XBox with all of the evolution of graphics in games nowadays. This was the only game I played from the beginning to the end.

Square Enix acquired Taito and basically like how Konami acquired Hudson Soft, did jack shit with them save for one or two titles. Interesting side note: the engine for this game was used in the JPN only PS1 game X/1999 also for PS1, and later on in the PS2 for Rozen Maiden ~Gebetgarten~ fighting game. So basically if you like the gameplay of Psychic Force, you'd like those as well. They are based on anime/movies so you might also want to check out their source material. As you may also know, Psychic Force got an anime OVA movie once. Lastly, Psychic Force Complete on PS2 was a compilation disc of all three PF games.

-Not just that, this game had some quite complex mechanics, but my guess is it probably got overshadowed by Dragon Ball back in the day(ppl with flying abilities, shooting beams of their hands etc,). Plus it had a anime running on the west for a few years while PF only ever had a single OVA(mostlikely for pormotion porposes only) And it only had 8 complete manga volumes iirc. -And not to mention these graphics where very highly detailed for a PS1 game back in the day. -It really deserved more attention, though.

@@budgiecat9039 I recalled when PF2012 was released in arcades, a fault occured in play-testing, alongside the arcade being overheated easily. The 90s & 2000s were a slogging decade & a half for Taito, they lost their US-branch as it absorbed by Acclaim, but they tried to venture into 3-D gaming with Psychic Force, as well as venturing into other genres for games such as Magic Pengel. Even before the acquisition by Square, there was plans for a revival called Project: Psychic, but that got cancelled before being absorbed, likely because of the hardware complexity of The 7th Gen., mostly The PS3. To me, Taito just...fall behind, but now they are reviving their brand once more.

To get Burn, use any character to complete Arcade Mode without using any Continues, and have the game set so that you require 2 rounds to win a match minimum.
