That's going to be the best therapy she'll ever receive. Life transforming. I sometimes jokingly say that somebody's "doin' the Lord's work" in silly situations, but in this case..... @@mave143 even people who are mentally ill can be abusive. As they CAN control it in certain circumstances. Some mentally ill people are only like this behind closed doors. Which means they CHOOSE to abuse that person. And no one outside. That's the difference between very mentally ill people- some cannot control it and abuse all around them- some CAN control themselves and CHOOSE to abuse their partner behind closed doors. I have 35 yrs of first hand experience with those are mentally ill.
