I used to be a skeptic but John is the only one who has made me a believer, he talks about things with people that he just couldn't know about them. I watched once where he was giving someone a piece of information and they kept disagreeing and saying he was wrong. they contacted the show later to say that having spoken to other family members it turned out that what he was saying was correct. I really like the guy.

I had bought tickets for my mom and I (her only son) to go to a John Edward reading because her husband (my stepfather) had died in a drowning accident a couple years before, but the appearance was cancelled. Shortly thereafter I had an ADC "dream" from HIM who BTW was a complete asshole to ME in life... I really hated this guy... and yet when he entered the "dream" from a lit up doorway I ran up to him and jumped in his arms and wrapped my legs around him because HE appeared SO HAPPY that I just couldn't help myself. A lot of stuff was said and conveyed in this "dream", and let me just say... this was the most hyperreal dream I have ever had, and to this day you cannot convince me that it didn't actually happen. I am now 50. I was in my 20's when he died.

To all the naysayers, I got a (17 minute) free reading, out of thousands of people who were live with him online. I was allowed one question, any question, and mine had absolutely nothing to do with people who had passed. It had more to do with me. Quite frankly, I really wasn't interested in that part and thought we'd be done. After he answered my question, he focused on "my people". Said there were two father figures that had passed (yep). He flat-out said, "Who's George"? That was my FIL who we lost five years ago, and I truly considered a father figure. There was NO "Who has the G name", or any other vague this-or-that. They did not have my last name. I didn't fill anything out. I didn't even speak/chat with anyone until John and I linked together online. He didn't ask me any questions (in regard to the two fathers), other than "Who's George??". So, for those of you that don't believe in his abilities, or anyone else's, quit watching, quit bad-mouthing, and move on!

23 years ago my brother was killed in a car crash. Shortly after that I was home watching John's show, my mom at her house and my aunt at hers, all watching the show. John was walking around the studio giving readings when he stops and says..... okay, this is for the tv audience not here at the studio. John says..... okay, this man won't shut up. I don't understand this but he said you'll understand. He's showing me a picture of a traffic light nailed outside on a garage with a woman standing behind it. He said to you that he's okay and he's happy and he's with his brothers. Well my brother worked in the traffic division designing components for the traffic lights here on the gulf. After a partial hurricane he was able to take some of the lights that needed replacing. He rewired the lights and gave them to some of us. Steve gifted one to my mom that she had her husband nail out on the outside of their garage. It was confirmation to all of us that he was okay. What an amazing experience and so thankful that we all wanted it.

I enjoy watching John but these women...good grief! They extrapolate beyond any reasonable range and swear that they've made a contact with someone from the "other side". It seems to me that if spirits from the other side were actually being contacted that JE would not have to ask so many leading questions and that the answers from the audience would match without any slip ups or even slight hesitations. Either you know it, or you don't so don't waste time trying to make it fit. I'd probably trust the results of a Ouija Board before I'd fall back upon anything that passes between these folks as being genuine contacts with a spirit, particularly that of a deceased loved one.
