I have been a jpop fan for a long time, too, but if you ask me. Japanese music has one of the most diverse groups of people, and not just in the music scene but also in the dance scene. There are pretty decent amounts of non-Japanese and japanese blasian artists.

Jimmy is half-Japanese/Nigerian, Weesa is half-Korean/Moroccan. Both born and raised in Nagoya, Japan. They're gaining international recognition as of late, so do check them out. You're in their official channel right now. The next two are SUNNY-PLAY and Janet, sibling duo of rappers known as PERO PERO CANDY (ぺろぺろきゃんでー). SUNNY-PLAY is the older sibling and is also a producer in addition to a rapper. Janet is both a rapper and a vocalist. Just to let you know to keep an open mind when you start venturing into J-Pop. They do a lot of things completely different from K-Pop (ex. individualized dancing rather than 100% in sync, uneven line distribution in some songs, etc.). Each J-Pop/J-ent agency has their own system, there's no centralized system unlike in K-Pop (ex. training system, music for fun vs. music to get viral, definition of "idol" in J-Pop, etc.). Lastly, have fun exploring J-Pop artists using different genres. You might find something you may like that may sound fresh to you😊 J-Pop artists are quite diverse - as in DIVERSE diverse, not just "mostly Asian/half-Asian" diverse. Sure, Japanese are majority, but you'll see many J-Pop artists/group members like Jimmy, Weesa, SUNNY-PLAY, and Janet at the same time. Crystal Kay, Thelma Aoyama, Daichi Yamamoto, 3li¥en, any of the EXILE TRIBE groups, etc. I don't listen to K-Pop, so I can't answer your last question😅

What i love about this song is that the song really blend well with the 4 artists. Jimmy did great on his singing skills that i don't usually hear since he does rap lines. Weesa's song is always great just like how he did on Parfait. About the two artists, Janet.and Sunny, they really have the voice plus the artistry that I don't usually see on the other side.
