I was at the office a couple of years ago and we had a fire drill. When we were told to go inside, it so happened that someone was working on cutting a tree down. I got on video somewhere....it was pretty awesome LOL. Good job guys!

I feel your pain Larry with my meniscus tears in both of my knees 😢. Country boys at work, I use to do the same thing with my Dad, so I'm a Country girl too lol Tree cutting is very hard work nobody knows until they've actually done it. Great job guys 👌

Had some family take a tree down and use a similar method, but they didn't really know what they were doing and used way too short a rope. They took a video of it and the person of the rope was running away the second it started coming down because it came down right on the spot they would have been standing. Also, it was like the tree wanted to hit that light you were trying to avoid.

I'm not sure what size bar you have on your chainsaw, but it looks like from the video that if you had a bigger bar, like an 18" bar (if it's not already 18") that tree would've came down a whole lot easier..

I’ve cut a huge tree once in haddonfield the fire department couldn’t get the truck ladder high enough to save the neighbors cat !! I took a tiny electric chainsaw and cut down a 3 foot wide around over 100 ft tall oak tree it with a Corded like 18 inch tiny saw lmfao 🤣 it was insane when it hit the ground I was prolly 19 years old lol and saved the cat it landed and ran back home fire department couldn’t do the job I did lol 😂 I just yelled timber and that thing came down and so did the kitty cat 🐈 lol

It looks like you didn't make a big enough notch. < ... A good notch and a cut all the way through should've worked the first time. And you should never walk infront of a tree you have notched and cut!
