I like the theory that Giratina was influencing him through the plate, a one ring sort of deal where more and more of his actual personality was corrupted or his flaws were enhanced the closer he got to giratina's goal of fighting its creator.

Seeing Volo look absolutely insane while all the while believing he is in the right, those devil horns with the hair was genius; I actually based a dnd character after him named Mendex Fictor, a liar and a faker, who acts like Volo and thanks to this animation I found the perfect song for him. I am.. VERY late, but I had t ocomment. First off, the animation is incredible, I love your artstyle and I think you captured Volo perfectly. Second, I ended up using Volo as a baseline for a character of mine for a large project, and thanks to this I think i've found his themesong. Third, everything from the emotions to the tension building was done perfectly. 0:57 genuinely gave me chills.

I usually use Flipaclip to animate and for the more detailed stuff I use Procreate Flipaclip being free while procreate costs money :) hope that helps
