@@frandei4416 in actual citation? No. Most of that is between Makishima and Kougami but the story makes references to books besides the ones cited. Some of them are mentioned in passing and other books are only an inspiration. For example, in Isaiah Berlin’s Two Concepts of Freedom, we get an analogy to the rationalistic state that is made with the artist who enforces their creative will on unwilling subjects. In season one we have a killer who does the same thing but it becomes interesting because she is supposed to be a criminal in the sibyl system yet what the sibyl sysyem does is exactly the same: enforcing its ideal rationalistic view of human welfare on unwilling subjects.
