@@Yamanj23 True. Although it is vaguely hinted at that he could use the more specific psychic powers if he actually cared to, through the similarities with Claw's Leader if I remember correctly. The main reason he doesn't is because he is subconsciously afraid of his powers until the finale. That may have just been a head-canon though. So don't take my word on it. (One example by what I mean, is him using the Leader's Psychic Absorption ability to save his life before redirecting it all into the broccoli seeds.)

This is the nicest and most concern he's shown someone and it's so sweet. For the first time he can empathise with someone going through the same thing he has. I hope there's a comic where Anya tells her parents with Saiki promising to erase their memories if it goes badly. But it doesn't. It goes wonderfully. But, she asks him to erase it anyway. Because she still likes having a secret of her own. But now she now she knows she doesn't need to be afraid anymore and when she feels ready, she can tell them on her own and have the day all over again.
