Congrats on the wedding man, that's great. The MMR match making is getting ridiculous, I'm a solid 4 star and i keep getting put in lobbies with 6 star, 5 star duos. It's really irritating because im just not as good as them. And I seem to immediately die to headshots as soon as any fighting starts.

Same brother. I am 4 star, MAYBE 5 star on a good day and I've been stuck in 6 star mmr since the change. I don't have good aim, I can't compete with younger players on Adderall. Now I just play soul survivor if I'm in the mood for hunt.

3-4 star is the least sweatiest. 1-2 star is really reserved for terrible players. You know nothing about sweat until you hit 5-6. Trust me.

I think you folk always miss the point. The game is VASTLY different in these lobbies. The "fun" factor (read: not stomping) is eliminated for... EVERY SINGLE GAME. I loved the days where you'd have a couple 4 stars, majority 5, and 1 team of 6 stars. It felt more varied and satisfying.

Man... that first match is a prime example of why I'm not playing Hunt that much anymore. I took like a 6 month break from hunt and I come back to every lobby being long ammo players hitting every shot, and the game refuses to lower my mmr because of the way the new mmr system works.

I'm a high 5 star and regularly play with a 4 star and a low 3 star. For some reason we will still match up with triple 6 star teams. It blows my mind. Usually out the back of my characters skull due to a sniper shot

Feels like a solo playing with 2 accounts as a duo. Remember folks doing that before you were able to solo necro up to 7 times totalling up to 950HP (which wasn't op apparently).

IS there any reason why you place the bear traps in line with the doorway? Is it not better to place them side by side so they hit both at the same time? I figured with the slow down from after hitting 1 they have more of a chance of stopping before they hit the 2nd trap with your method, but maybe I am missing something

It's rather polarizing how mixed and even negative the community now feels towards this game given how much excitement there was for the next generation of Hunt. Feels like after MW2019 came out and everyone was like "wow what is next?" and we got dog shit.

Thanks for the analysis. Have to say, I strongly dislike most of the stuff and the direction they are going with Hunt. If the pumpkinheads would only be playable during the season that would be ok. But knowing players and crytek we are going to see them regularly. And yeah they look darkish but for me it goes into Fortnite direction. Healing/Revive bolts? CK Handcannon? Why not add Nitro Handcannon and Avtomat Vandal? Or the trait from CoD where you can shoot while being downed? Who am I kidding it will come and they will not stop adding and changing the game I once loved So dearly. Not to forget their new CoD gamemode which is coming. And with that a new target audience and even more CoD/ Fortnite additions. I cursed the day they hired new directors and went that way. This rant comes from a point of view of passion for Hunt Showdown.

Priesting past priestige 10 feels bad imo, because up until level 10 each prestige is at least a random comestic, but after 10 most of the prestige is just "heres hunt dollars that you wouldnt need if you werent prestiging" or "heres an xp boost to prestige faster next time and get to chose this boost again", its mind numbing "number go up" meaningless grinding

There was an event where you could play only solo. But that went terrible... It was either shotguns or long ammo snipers and noboby made a move! So the matches where really long and really boring :D

I had this feeling for few months now that I am somehow getting worse at this game. I wasn't able to level up a character to max or actually earn any money. Then recently I read that Crytek banned over 2k cheaters. And yesterday we managed to basically wipe out entire server and all the players on our 3* level where finally of a comparable skill. I wonder why... Keep up the good work Crytek and keep on banning the cheaters :) I still hate though that it's now impossible to earn money if you are a 3* players, even while playing with cheap loadouts. Everything became so expensive. I am all the time a 3-4* player, and I am playing generally better and better over time (now over 1k hours in Hunt) and a year ago I had 220k of money (no prestiges). Now I went below 80k. Still playing the same loadouts, still having the same KDA.
