You can do your BA and MA from any college. But if you want to become a Clinical Psychologist then its very necessary to do you M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from a RCI registered university because if you dont do your mphil from RCI registered uni chances are you won’t get a license and without that license you cant work as a clinical psychologist. @@kirtigawade3911 you can do phd too but if you aspire to be a clinical psychologist you need to do mphil first because after mphil you will be given a license that will let you do clinical testing and all but phd wont give you a license to perform clinical testing. Basically mphil is necessary for getting license to perform tasks in clinical settings.

You just need to do a pg diploma in counselling psychology and may be an internship for 8-12 months before you start working independently. (Internship totally depends on you if you want to do it or not, if not then a pg diploma in counselling psychology alone is enough)
