It is not possible to purse b.tech if you don't have mathematics in 12th standard. The eligibility for admission to these courses is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam with 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry// Computer Science Also,If you want to take admission in TOP colleges of India like NITs, IITs etc, then JEE is mandatory.

The student can take up any subject of their choice but subjects combination with psychology in class 12th would be great! Colleges you may check out: Christ, Bangalore, DU Although, there is no such difference amongst Bsc and Ba Psychology. Other options can also be explored.
