I agree. A woman will assert dominance over her man and expect him to activate all levels of initiatives while she has your balls in her purse. Nope. The last girl took control of the relationship, started to control the flow of conversations, choosing when to reply and leaving several unanswered questions on the table. The last straw was canceling plans because of a sick cat. And I'm a busy university student. Her time has apparently become more valuable than my time, because of cats... Her cats became her priority over a guy she "Cares more than anything in the world" cute but her words did not follow her actions and I had to rescind my happy emotions away hopefully for good because I'm quite fed up with competing to see her and brushed aside.

ABSOLUTELY! The type of woman who thrives off of drama, is volatile. If you partner with her, you will be in a state of agitation for as long as you are with her. The type of woman who does this, is entitled and vain. The question the man must ask himself, is “what kind of person do I want to be?” A man who has his own goals, interests and purpose, has the character and personality, should seek a woman who values those traits. Courage, confidence, courtesy, and compassion, are key. If that is what comprises your character, and if that is what you seek in your life, you will exude that naturally. If you have to twist yourself in knots, and behave contrary to what you believe in order to be with someone, you are with the wrong person! If somebody does not align with your virtues and values, you do not have to be abrasive, rude or demanding. If that person does not possess characteristics that align with your virtue, values and purpose, politely decline to be with that person, and walk away. You have the right to decide how you spend the most valuable currency you have, your time!

This lecture reminds me of a Star Trek episode (The Enemy Within) where Captain Kirk, early in the episode, outright told a woman that she was too beautiful to ignore. Well, he then went from one thing to another in relationship to that and things didn't turn out well for him. I have already made the forthcoming comment on one of your lectures but I'll repeat it because I hope that you, Coach Mellanie, will read it; that is, if you haven't already. It will probably make you giggle. Here it is: I once worked in a call center with several employees, one of whom I caught the attention of. There was a vacant seat next to me and this one young lady went out of her way to fill it. She then started what I call a "courtship blitz." What I mean is that she was coming on much too strong. She may have been what you would call "toxic." This all happened somewhat suddenly and I wasn't at first sure of how I should respond. I wasn't ignoring her but I was just somewhat paralyzed. I did manage, though, to ask her a "screening" question to see if she would be at least a good girlfriend. She failed that test and I then decided that I could not immediately get involved with her in the way that she wanted me to. I then tried to concoct something to say to her that would deflect her approach but drew a blank. THEN, without me even trying, I achieved that goal within the context of a conversation. She never looked at me the same way...once that she FOUND OUT...THAT...I liked watching Pee Wee Herman.

Hi Melannie, I was wondering about ways to get rid of a toxic woman. I have tried ignoring her, blocking her number, etc. I have done nothing to lead her on. But she keeps on stalking me. She sends me love notes & cards to my home address and asking me out all the time. I keep telling her I’m not interested in her. I have since met a really nice lady that I have a really good connection with. We have been on a few dates already and it is going really well. I told this toxic woman that I was not interested in her and that I was going out with this other woman. The toxic woman said that “You will learn to love me” and “I met you first” I am at a loss of what to do, Melannie. I have tried everything to get rid of this toxic woman out of my life. Have known her for a long time. Made plans for Friday evening. Blown off no txt, no call, nothing. Saturday went to her apartment. Not looking for excuses, which she gave many crappy ones. Just to tell her that was disrespectful behavior. Would not do that to her and expect no more or less towards me. Calmly and nicely left it at that. No contact after that. I think a distinction needs to be made. During a relationship, definitely do not ignore her. After a breakup however, it is good to take space and go no contact. When someone rejects you, it is important to maintain your dignitiy and self-respect and not continue to stay and beg. Of course, if she reaches out then do not ignore her. But once she changes the terms of the relationship, then you have no obligation to stick around. And you shouldnt

How are people supposed to get to know each other better if they keep playing mind games whether intentional or not. The only time you should cut contact is when a woman gives mixed signals. Stand up for yourself and call her out on her behaviour in the kindest possible way. Many men feel too scared about telling a woman that it is rude to ignore because they think they will lose her. That actually isn’t true because it shows her not only do you have feelings, but you have standards. An example of this is when someone is on their phone whilst you are out on a date. It is crucial to read body language and don’t be afraid to let her know you ain’t going to put up with rude behaviour when out on a date. It isn’t being controlling, it is actually a good thing for a potential relationship because who wants a be in a relationship with someone who is constantly on their phone and ignoring the fact it is suppose to be a date. Another modern day example would be having a video date, but the date decides to cut it short because one of their best friends is trying to contact them. That is rude and inappropriate, especially when they could get in contact with their friends later. Unless it is an emergency, then the woman who puts her friends before our date I will tell them it is rude and I doubt this is going to work. Lastly, nobody is ever too busy. So if anyone says I’ve been working flat out throughout the entire week but you’ve noticed they’ve been online, then doesn’t that show you they ain’t interested. If ever someone does anything above, then move on and find someone mature enough to take the time out in their day to get back to you. Only immature and toxic people take days to respond back.

Wierd because my wife actually ignored me and left me. I treated her just fine. No abuse, no yelling, I gave her love notes, vacations,money, hugs, I love yous, clothes, dates, and attention but she never told me about her past trauma and her issues with men/ husbands and father figures. We are talking about humans. Living, breathing women with emotions, feelings and needs. It's more realistic to think of it like moving to a new country. A country where they speak a different language than you and have different traditions and cultures. If you were going into this situation I'm sure you would agree that having a guide would be an asset. Someone who knows the language and culture and can teach it to you. That is the power of a woman coach. BUT you have to remember you are trying to attract a woman not a fish. Have a nice day!
