I honestly couldn't enjoy it because I was unable to understand the point of the 'Hide and Seek' challenge. There was almost no hiding spot neither grace period in order to hide, like the challenge is suggesting. The lack of flashlight didn't help find one in time either. I think they just missed the mark on the flavour for this one. In the end, it was just a hardcore hunt challenge.

@@patonnight Go to the small tents and close the door on yourself while standing on it. The ghost can't kill you and you can rule some out by watching it hunt.

@@voxxes3931 I did that and just died because the tent was fully occupied xD In the end I had no other choice but to loop like Psycho, because hiding wasn't a viable strategy, unless you cheese it like you suggest. I was expecting a big grace period with a super fast ghost and many hiding spots in order to incentivize actually hiding, that's why I ended up dissappointed. It was not a matter of difficulty, but of missed expectations.

Thanks for showing how you can hide behind a lit campfire and use it to block line of sight. Saved me from a Revenant during the last game that very quickly killed my friend that was with me. Still two more ghosts to go for this weekly challenge.

I ended up completing this in under 10 minutes just going by how the ghosts behave during hunts. I got Myling, Revenant, and Deogen. Super lucky and was able to complete it very easily :D

How do you recognise revenant without being in its line of sight? Oo

@@eaenneae5822 Listen to the footsteps during a hunt. If the Rev does not have line of sight of you, it will be the slowest ghost in the game. Hide and listen...

@@eaenneae5822 Pretty much as slow as a Deo, yes. But the Deo is slow when it can see you, the Rev is slow when it cannot see you. :-)

I tried 3 rounds with no actual hiding spots so all I could do was try to hide behind campfire and in the bathroom stall. I searched the whole camp on the first two rounds (between hunts) and there were no official hiding spots (no coolers, no little tents, no stacked sleeping bags). For this reason I assumed that all hiding spots were turned off and I gave up on this challenge. But Psycho had hiding spots! (no fair!)

Just found your video. Tried this challenge with two friends last night and since we are all between levels 12-35, we don’t know all the little tricks for certain ghosts, but we did get 1 of 3 done for the challenge so it’s a start

Phantom, Phantom, Deogen, Hauntu for me. Had to redo once cuz a friend forgot to put it in. Tip: You can shut the small tent doors on yourself and watch the ghost hunt without dying. (Just don't crouch!)

don't crouch? is that why I always get killed on this map? the ghost can see you when you're crouched but not when you're standing up? that seems counterintuitive since the tents are so tiny, irl you'd have to crouch. I never would've figured that out myself

How? The ghost should see the 3 dots on your head that lets it kill you...

@@2GoatsInATrenchCoat Basically if you crouch, the ghost has access to your hitbox and can kill you. Same concept as the glitch to get on islands back in the day, if you crouched you died. These types of challenges were impossible as a new player when I would stand at the entrance for ages trying to muster up the courage to step in. Now I just run straight in, hope for the best, and enjoy the thrill of it. I ended up getting two Revenants and a Polty.

I got Two Thayes and a Moroi this challenge. The Moroi round was absolutely chaotic for my friends and I. 😂 This challenge was actually quite fun but also pretty tough.

Took me 13 ghosts and frayed nerves but got there. I had great fun! Kept getting roam/teleporting ghosties. I learnt I'm crap at looping using the camp fire

Did it in multiplayer last night. Got a banshee scream almost as soon as I walked into the campsite. The last two successful ghosts was The Twins and Oni. Was quite easy to figure those out although it took me a little bit with the Oni because I didn't look at it before it caught up to me.

At first I thought it would have been too hard. My first two ghosts were Revenant and Thaye. The last ghost was a Jinn (I got Freezing and EMF 5). I think this challenge may only allow 2 evidence, so you might have been lucky leaving Shade with eliminated Fingerprints and Spirit Box.

My brother and I had a blast with this one. We went in all 3 times and instantly knew what ghosts they were based on speed. Jinn, Raiju, Deogen. We farmed a perfect game off the Deogen.

I just tried it a few minutes ago. Couldn't hecking pinpoint the ghost room because Camp Woodwind just be like that, and it was the most normal ghost of all time as far as hunt behaviors, so I just went with Wraith because it was touching stuff in a big range and I had spent too much time there already. It was a Goryo 🙃

I'm wondering how you lit that lighter or the fire..... when it's raining on my game. I can't use anything of the sort. Also, how did you know it was a phantom? How did you know it was a Thaye?

Phantom disappears a lot more often during hunts there is a huge gap in between the blinking. Thaye is extremely fast and active once it starts hunting the moment you enter the place.

I watched you and Insym finish inside 15 minutes, my first two trips died inside a minutes due to lack of hiding and one ghost being too fast to run from. Tried two more attempts with no luck and barely any clues. So I give up and have no interest in this type of challenge.

I also give up on hard challenges but for big maps ... in this case I dont mind trying again since its relatively tiny I can go back in again... Id say hang in there I also have a tough time doing this one currently 🤔

Blinks for longer so it disappears and doesn’t show itself for longer periods compared to other ghosts … the reverse of ONI

This challenge is such bullshit. "hey its hide and seek but every hiding spot is full and you cant use it." Like what is the point of even trying this week. Literally every time I walk 2 feet into the entrance it hunts and kills me instantly.

On the bright side: you lose nothing on death! You may even want to suicide into the ghost for some hunting evidence. As long as you fill in the book right nothing else matters ✨️
