Okay this actually made me feel so much better. My wedding is supposed to be August 1st this year and we are unsure if we are going to be able to actually have our big celebration, which really wont be that big anyways, and may just end up having to get married at the courthouse or just have something very small with our immediate families and postpone our big celebration until maybe next year. Seeing this made me feel better that it isnt about the celebration and yeah having to replan that whole thing would be stressful but we will still be able to be married and that is what matters not the big celebration. What I found most interesting about her first wedding was the 'love circle' at the end, where the guests all sat around the fire expressing their love for the couple and each other. There were heartfelt and genuine moments there. So I think while it may seem like her first wedding experience wasn't what her heart desired, she still managed to make it about what she cares about most: Her family. I have never cried at a wedding. Ever in my life, and I'm a super empathetic person as well as super emotional (hypersensitive). This made me SOB! It was just all this happy emotion, and the wedding was just so pure and perfect and wholesome. Y'all looked so happy and in love, and that's so important. This video, as well as your vlog about the recent Miranda video, made feel so emotional that I sobbed for the entire duration of each video, and then an extra 30-45 mins after. I'm not sure if it's me being super stressed and anxiety being high due to the pandemic, or if it's hormonal, or both or something else. I just know that I haven't felt so much emotion in a long time, and maybe I just really needed to cry. The parts in the other videos, where you were sitting in the shower with Flynn and comforting him, and saying, "we'll be okay," really hit me hard. That's when the tears started, and they didn't stop. I guess I really needed to hear that from someone other than the people I know - although no one's really been saying that; it's mostly been a bunch of "we're doomed" stuff. Everything's been hitting me so hard, and these videos were something I really needed at this time. I needed to close my eyes and listen to the words of comfort from a mother (even though I'm almost 28 lol), and I needed a ray of sunshine and happiness like from this video. If you somehow see this, thank you, Colleen, for sharing this private moment of happiness with us. You didn't have to, but you did, and it helped me so much today. I got married in a pavilion by a beach that I rented for $30 wearing a white sundress I bought on a clearance rack. My hair was done for free by a friend. My invitations were a gift from my cousin who does graphic design. My photos and guest book (a wooden sign everyone signed) were gifts from my uncle. The food was a bbq and a gift from another uncle and aunt. The most expensive things were the flowers and I paid for a hotel for my pastor friend to come from far away so he could officiate. It was super chill there was no head tables or dancing. I sat with friends and ate a veggie burger. So many people told me that it was the best wedding they had been too and they really enjoyed themselves.

Our wedding was postponed due to the virus so we went to the courthouse with my dad and his cousin. Afterwards we ate fastfood, played video games, and just enjoyed each other. The reception has been postponed to October, but I'm so grateful that we had the opportunity to have something much more intimate. ❤

My husband and I got married last weekend (April 25) in the middle of all of this crazy, in our backyard.
