Fun fact: The inspiration came from the last tour they had in LA in May of last year, a surprise second date at Banc of California Stadium added due to fan demand. During the tour, they had performed under the moonlight and were dancing, and the composer for this song was there. He found their performance so beautiful, so that was the inspiration. 😊❤

Twice was one of the first groups to have a member (Mina) openly take time off due to mental health, in a country where such problems are largely ignored. Their company and fans supported her, she returned happy and healthy and inspired other idols to get the help they needed without feeling shame. Their 2019 Song "Feel Special" tells the story of the members finding support in each other and its release marked Mina's return from hiatus. Mina's part (she begins the 2nd verse) is particularly powerful. It was written by the group and label's founder, Park Jin Young (JYP). I can't think of a better song for you to react to from Twice than "Feel Special" :)

It is written to share their frustrations. Most idols will have black fans attack .Because there are Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese, and cultural contradictions among the members, the attacks are more frequent. Most of the members have been subjected to cyber violence. They survived with mutual support. It also made the relationship between them stronger than family members. They have nearly 300 songs in their discography, and more than 22 MVs. I would love to see you explore their music. I would recommend Feel Special, What is Love, Fancy, Likey, Alcohol Free for the korean ones, there are Japanese ones too, and they are mind-blowing, but you can start with these! Oh, and this was their pre-release track of the upcoming album in March! You should react to Feel Special which was based on their struggles, when one of their members got into hiatus due to mental health issues. And they have been through a lot. So, I would really like you to deep dive into twice. Because they are the happy pill we need everyday. Editing it once more, bcz there's no end to what i want to say. I did not expect this at all. I think you should check out kpop some more, and a different song in english you could react to is double knot by Stray Kids, but make sure it's the english version. I like twice but their lyrics is not that special, and you can find a lot more special stuff lyrics wise in kpop.

I’ll also add that Twice are not fluent English speakers so of course their eng lyrics would be simpler. They’ve written some amazing songs in both Korean and Japanese. I think if you only recommend English kpop releases it’s really limiting yourself.
