Oxymoron live at CBGB's, NYC 4-14-96

The first time in the states all the way from Germany, the tour was Braindance, Oxymoron and The Casualties. At that time and moment it was a stacked pogoing time to say the least. It took me a while to find this footage and upload it but so worth it to see again. For those watching this, I hope you enjoy it as well. Cheers!

Oxymoron is one of the most underrated bands in punk history. Incredible band and the shows were always so much fun. Fuck the 90's is still tops in my listening rotation.

I agree, I was into 77/82 uk shit in highschool in the late 90s early 2000s and got into underground hip hop.. Oxymoron along with a few other bands are the only punk I can still stand to this day.. I always say Oxymoron is the best band of the 90s era VS uk82 but I think overall as a band theyre one my top 3 bands still.. fuck the 90s, pack is back and some songs off best before 2000 are the best.. I was lucky to have seen them in 2002 at Showcase in Corona,CA and it was hands down the best show... I went fucking nuts for Oxymoron and I had seen the casualties, unseen, varukers etc at the same venue... Oxymoron will always be one of my favorites, the riffs, baselines and drums are amazing.. Another dope US band I call the "US Oxymoron" is a band called The Subversives... i have their "protest to dance" LP on my channel if you want to check em out.. "know your enemy" is one of my fav tracks

20 years on and i still love oxymoron. one of the absolute best 90s punk bands. bad co. project is also tops.

Saw them open for DKM back when DKM were a great live punk rock band...in Boston...and Oxymoron blew them off the stage. I had heard their music but hadn't seen them live. A lot of the folks in the crowd had never heard of them and you could just feel the 'who are THESE guys?!?!?' energy in the crowd. I never missed a New England area show after that and they never disappointed.

I never got to see them. Maybe one day they will tour again and in Texas. But I wont hold my breath.

I joined this gig at the CBGB's in NYC and on the same tour at Chicago on a bowling alley. Anybody knows that place or remember? Later, I invited Oxymoron making a gig in Speyer, Germany with Springtoifel and Frau Doktor (German Ska band). That was really a blast! Sucker said, I should not use the name Oxymoron on the flyers and posters because they are currently on tour with their label so I just mentioned 'special guest - Fuck the Nineties… Here’s Our Noize!' but everybody did know who's playing anyway. What a gig! At the end of the day I didn't fuck the nineties - it was a great time!

it's cool seeing them in the era before the pack is back was out and best before 2000 where they played mostly the tracks from Fuck the 90s... I thought they were gona play Partisans "I never needed you" around 18:00.. haha. The whole fuck the 90s is awesome but one of my favorite slower songs is Mohican Tunes.
