Obviously, within the community itself they've made a name for themselves, but extreme metal is a pretty niche art form. I've seen Psycroptic live at least 6 times In ACT and I will be totally fair when I say they are the greatest live metal band that there is Up close to the stage this is really the tightest band I've ever seen This is with hundreds of gigs worth of experience in the metal community including many of the bigger pioneers of the modern wave of metal genres I found a sceptre of the ancients poster about 10 years ago and that's when I got into psycro

I came across them when Dean Lamb featured Exitus on his channel, looked to see if they had any gigs and what do you know, there was a gig at The Basement literally two days later. It was some multiday event with heaps of bands though, so was way too expensive when I only wanted to see Psycroptic. Next time!
