The music featured in these mixes is created by lots of talented musicians using a variety of techniques from digital software based synths and sequencers to more traditional keyboards, synthesizers and effects boxes. The easiest way to get started would be with software. Grab a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). Software like Ableton Live, FL Studio, or Logic Pro . Ableton Live is particularly popular for electronic music due to its versatility and live performance capabilities. Start creating simple loops and gradually build them into full tracks. Don’t be afraid to experiment and make mistakes. The more you practice, the better you'll become. Dub related genres often involve layering multiple textures and sounds to create a rich, immersive experience. Experiment with ambient pads, field recordings,tape echo, delay and reverb and various layers of sound to build your tracks.
