B5 I'd disagree with, as their biggest hit was a remake of a remake. Day26 had an impact, as they kind of brought R&B Group singing back for men, but neither can be looked at as great influencers because *true* R&B has been on life support the last 15 years or so. Today's "R&B singers" do more singing about fucking and club-life than singing with passion about love and tenderness as they did in the genre's prime.
